Dr. Peter Weiss

Board Member

Dr. Peter Weiss is a board member of the Council for Economic Resilience, an organization that is dedicated to promoting the future of autonomy and automation for the benefit of the American public.

A board-certified physician, Dr. Weiss earned his medical degree from the University of Michigan School of Medicine. He is an Emeritus physician at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center and served as an Assistant Clinical Professor at the UCLA Geffen School of Medicine for over 30 years.

Dr. Weiss has authored more than 50 published articles on a wide range of healthcare topics and has lectured extensively to physicians and healthcare advisors across the United States and Canada. He has appeared on numerous national television talk shows, newscasts, and radio programs.

In 2008, Dr. Weiss served as a national healthcare advisor to Senator John McCain’s presidential campaign and has since advised national leaders on both sides of the aisle. A strong advocate for real-world AI, Dr. Weiss believes in its transformative potential to improve the lives of individuals with significant disabilities. He is also a firm proponent of autonomous vehicles and trucks, viewing it as a powerful tool to prevent thousands of deaths and reduce life-altering injuries each year.
