We are ramping up advocacy, research, and public engagement in D.C. and nationwide this year as part of our mission to advocate for the autonomy economy. With critical policy battles looming in 2026, we are working to build a war chest ready at a moment’s notice. 

Too often, industry is late to the fight and CFER exists to get in front of it. Under the leadership of our Executive Director, Jim Mullen, an expert who’s been at the table for both business and government, we’re poised to lead this charge to ensure that automation and autonomy can scale in America.
