Dawn Sugasa is the Director of Development & Strategic Engagement at the Council for Economic Resilience, an organization that is dedicated to promoting the future of autonomy and automation for the benefit of the American public.
With over 22 years of expertise in strategic advising, public affairs, and political consulting. She has supported key Members of Congress and multiple industries through political strategic management and fundraising efforts.
From 2009 to 2024, Dawn served as Senior Political Strategist and National Finance Director for Fmr. Congresswoman Cathy McMorris Rodgers. She managed critical stakeholder relationships and provided strategic support that contributed to the Congresswoman’s rise to the first female Chair of the House Energy & Commerce Committee and six years as House Republican Conference Chair. Dawn’s work with policymakers on Capitol Hill has strengthened advocacy efforts across national, state, and local levels.
